(MS Paint, Mouse, 2007)

Lotus in the Rain

I went to a university in Chengdu, Sichuan.

There were a few large lotus ponds in the university, which were among the most popular places for students to relax, take a walk, or ponder their deep thoughts.

Most of time I avoided there simply because of the crowd. On the other hand, I did find it's quite different but also pleasant that, during a rainy day, sitting uncovered next to strangers fishing in the pond, and letting the rain dripping though my face freely. It really takes you out of your normal mind and lets you mesh into the surroundings so perfectly. If someday you do the same, you may also try to take a drink with the rain ...
